![]() ![]() Unlike SR4+, your Quickness or other stats won't factor in. If you have Firearms: 6, you'll roll 6 dice when you shoot at people. Generally, your skill rolls will just be your skill dice. Next, I have added a TON of Metamagics and revised rules from later editions into 2E to give casters a lot more options while keeping things balanced. I know that's part of the charm, but I wanted technology to be as recognizable and realistic as possible, so I've completely redone both the flavor and mechanics of decking. I've never been happy with how 1980's Hackers style the game is. Next, I've completely redone decking and how the Matrix works. I've also included some other sources & official stories as well from the Dumpshock forums and official 2E products. My house rules are quite expansive, so feel free to ignore or embrace at your discretion. This packet has a bunch of lore synopsis, game concepts, HOUSE RULES, and modified charts and cheat sheets to fit my vision of what the game should be. Feel free to use, spread, tear up, and hate on these. I've spent the last year completely overhauling and fixing them. SR2 is great, but the rules are really really choppy in places.
